The designs
Every wool accessory is designed and made in New Zealand by our preferred supplier Manawatu Knitting Mills. You can read more about this family-owned business on our blog.
We have visited their impressive manufacturing factory twice and we'd love to show you more.
Materials
Our accessories are made from a luxury blend of all-natural materials: super-fine New Zealand merino wool; possum fibre, a by-product of the possum population-control scheme; and a touch of silk.
Our merino wool is from the merino sheep, happy and healthy sheep who grow up in the beautiful mountains of New Zealand, grass-fed, in a pristine, clean-air environment.

All of our products are already in Japan and ship within 24 - 48 hours from Osaka.
No customs or import duties for you.

The Design
Everything starts with a passion for New Zealand wool.
We had an idea and it was wool
We were invited to a product launch for a well-known New Zealand product. It's something you can buy quite readily here in Japan. We got to thinking that New Zealand has many unique and wonderful products and innovations that you cannot buy in Japan. There was one we wanted to share with the people of Japan: New Zealand wool. It just makes sense for Japan's four seasons.
Pandemic stress
We don't want to think back too deeply but the covid years (uggh, masks) were stressful for all businesses. We couldn't travel back to New Zealand but thankfully we had Zoom. Our customers were cheered by our gorgeous optimistic colours.
Our very first shop
We're mainly an online business but we had always dreamed about welcoming people to a little shop where we could chat about life, the weather and how our products are perfect for all that.
In 2023 we ordered and purchased a tiny "container house / prefab" and slowly started creating a dreamy destination for people to call into - with a New Zealand-inspired garden around it.
