I rescued these plants from the demolition site just before the developers started the sub-division next to our house. The remind me of home and of old friends.

The garden where these originally grew was owned by a lovely elderly man who we called "Gardening Jiji". He was always kind and we loved to stop to talk to him. My youngest loved to help him with his garden.
